They caught him smoking on the Matterhorn Bobsled and roughed him up a bit before ejecting him from the Park.  He gave them the two finger salute and walked back to his parents house in Anaheim.  Jimmy was killed on the Matterhorn in May 1964 when he unbuckled his seat belt and tried to stand up as the cart was approaching the peak of the mountain. He lost his balance and fell onto the track below and crushed his skull.
