Bubble Wrap was invented in Hawthorne, Passaic County in 1957. The material started out as an idea for textured wallpaper and came to be used as a protective element in packaging after getting a big boost from the shipping of IBM's computer equipment.

Best Radio Show: While in Arizona I not only had time to eat several dozen tacos, I also had a lot of drive time to sample the local radio.  In Tucson I listened to "The Hub" on KXCI hosted by Bob Girth. It's a cornucopia of indie rock from this week, last week, and the last decade. You never know what's on the deck next.

National Thank God It’s Monday Day is recognized each year on the first Monday in January.  This day was created to celebrate all things that start/happen on a Monday in the  the upcoming year, such as; a new job, a promotion, birthdays, holidays, vacations and etc.  This is also a day, which starts out the first full week of the new year, to look ahead with positive hope, energy, enthusiasm and excitement for all things to come in the next 12 months.
